Perspective

How big are you?

This is something I received in an email and reminded me of a film I saw in college, "The Powers of Ten". I saw that film in a planetarium and it had a big impact on me. When I saw this email, all those thoughts came streaming back. I hope this strikes a cord in you as well.

This is a facinating perspective on us and our place in the universe!

Arcturus is the brightest star in the constellation Boötes, and the third brightest star in the night sky.

Antares is a red supergiant star in the Milky Way galaxy and the sixteenth brightest star in the nighttime sky.
It's more than 1000 light years away.
